We, Mark and Tina Mazuch with our children Jackson and Taylor, have lived next to Happy Tails for the last 7 years. Previously, Mark worked at Meisinger Oil and now runs Happy Tails business as a full-time career. Tina works at Northeast Community College as Director of the Health Information Management Systems program. Jackson, a Senior at Norfolk Senior High school, is involved with football, swimming and track. Taylor, a sophomore at Norfolk Senior High school, is involved with basketball and FFA. Mark and Tina both grew up with dogs in the home and know what a dog means to its family.Our family Golden retriever, Copper, was "employed " as a "Greeter" for Roger and Sharon in exchange for a 2nd breakfast, pig ears, tons of pats on the head, and affection. After Copper passed away in 2020, we added German Wirehaired Pointers to our family. We now have three Wirehaired Pointers, as the male and female had a litter of puppies, and we kept the cutest one.
Mark is an avid bird hunter who loves watching his dogs do what they love, being out in the field, bringing back the birds. He says "we have gotten to know our neighbors, Roger and Sharon, over the last 7 years. The Schulz's have a special heart for dogs, and my family looks forward to continuing their tradition of taking care of your dogs while you are away."
While the business has been geared toward dog boarding and grooming, we see opportunities for growth. All pets could be accepted - cats and dogs to fish and frogs. We both grew up in the Northeast Nebraska and look forward to working with the pets and families who call here home. While we welcome you and your pets to Happy Tails anytime, we especially invite our current and future customers to come and visit.
